Brownells has announced the death of long-time family patriarch Frank Brownell. Frank was a generous supporter of Knife Rights from its early years. Frank, who successively held the positions of President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board at Brownells, passed away in Grinnell, Iowa, on June 18th. He was six days shy of his 86th birthday.

Knife Rights Founder and Chairman Doug Ritter said, "Frank was a staunch Second Amendment advocate who recognized early on the power of Knife Rights as the Second Front in Defense of the Second Amendment. His friendship and his generous support of Knife Rights will be sorely missed. Sue and I and the rest of the Knife Rights family express our condolences to the entire Brownells family.”
